<lj:music>pixies -- "there goes my gun"</lj:music>

Comment here and you, too, can get in on the action!

-daily music recs [okay, semi-daily... almost]
-music reviews [if I'm in the mood]
-advance album copies [should I get my hands on it and should it be worth your time]
-access to my playlist [request 'til you have no more free space on your hard drive]
-more? [wait and see]

Just a few things to keep in mind:

1. I upload using YouSendIt, because I don't have my own hosting. Someday, I will. Until then, please bear with me. YSI is a crappy way to go with these sorts of things, but you do what you have to do. If a download runs out, all you have to do is leave a comment and I will re-up it. Also, if something is hosted on a record label's site, the link to the song will go to their page for you to download! [I will let you know when this happens.]

2. If you have an opinion on something I post, feel free to share it! (Just not in a rude way. That helps no one.) Feedback is great, positive or negative. If people like what I post, it's motivation to keep doing this.

3. I'll try and keep a good mix of the known/somewhat-known and [probably] relatively unheard-of going here. New or older, doesn't matter. I love new music, and hopefully you love experimentation and sampling of the unknown, too.

4. Maintaining this journal does and will take time. If I'm slow to fill a playlist request, or don't update for a few days, don't get too upset. Some days I'm busier than others, and I'll update this as my schedule allows (but let's face it, I do have a lot of free time). Just stick with me, it'll work out!

5. This is fun! Enjoy the music.
